I always accompany my mother in-law every time she needs to buy gold bullion. She loves to collect different kinds of gold coins and she actually gave me a piece of her precious collection as a gift for my birthday. I am not really expecting that she will give me a very expensive stuff. I am so close with my mother in-law and we treat each other more than like real mother and daughter. Being an additional member of a family is not that easy. We need to remember that it will take time to be accepted in the family. Problems with in-laws are inevitable especially so when they simply meddle in the couple’s parochial problems. The best way is to know the emotional state, social needs, physical problems or worries. Knowing them better would lead to better understanding of their attitudes towards you. I am so lucky that I am well accepted by my husband’s parents and families right away. I will always be thankful for all their efforts and help to me and my husband.
