The Gila River Entrepreneurship Program understands that a business development program has to set as its foundation a solid business-training program in order to be effective. The Program has included a comprehensive curriculum to ensure Community Entrepreneurs are afforded an opportunity to sharpen business skills and knowledge. Community members are encouraged to participate in trainings, classes and workshops regardless of economic, social and educational levels.

Our strategy has been to incorporate established resources such as Central Arizona College, the Small Business Development Center, and the National Center for American Indian Economic Development into our trainings, workshops and seminars. This strategy allows for cost effective trainings provided by professionals in a particular business field. The Program has partnered with Central Arizona College to provide a Five Course Curriculum that leads to a Certificate in Small Business Management.
